K1 Circuit General Facility Rules

 

  • No smoking or vaping on the property. 
  • Tarps or mats are mandatory under every kart in the paddock area to catch excess fuel & oil. Failure to comply may result in a $150 fine. 
  • No bikes, skateboards, scooters, or any other motorized/human-powered vehicles on facility grounds. 
  • All karts must pass the 95 DB test for noise requirements on track. 
  • No staking or screwing of fasteners into the asphalt anywhere on the property. 
  • No overnight camping at K1 Circuit. 
  • Pedestrian traffic only through the breezeway – no karts or kart stands. 
  • No pets are allowed except service animals; emotional support animals are not allowed. Service animals that perform an active function are allowed on K1 Circuit grounds and can go wherever their handler is credentialed to go, except for the pits. Service animals are never allowed in the pits. See more about service animals below. 
  • Alcohol is strictly prohibited until racing has concluded 
  • Any foul language or bad behavior will result in you being asked to leave. 
  • K1 Circuit is a cashless business: only credit or debit cards are accepted. 
  • Racers must take used tires, fuel cans, and any large boxes with them. Leaving these items at K1 Circuit may result in a $150 fine. 
  • All pit areas must have a fire extinguisher. 

 

  • Hours of Operation: 9am to 9pm (Open Practice: 9am-5pm; Rentals start at 12pm). 
  • Everyone must sign in and receive a wristband – spectators included. 
  • Minors must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians to fill out the waiver. 
  • A K1 Circuit License is required to go on track.   
  • All licenses, gift cards, and races are per person, and non-transferable with K1 Speed. 
  • Vehicles, trailers, and tents must fit inside designated parking/pit spots. 
  • Parking outside of designated zones is prohibited; roads/fire lanes must stay clear. 
  • No bikes, skateboards, scooters, golf carts or any other human-powered / motorized vehicles (including karts) in the parking areas.  
  • Alcohol is strictly prohibited during the hours the track and paddock are hot with karts on course. When races are finished for the day, you can enjoy K1 Circuit’s Paddock Lounge.  
  • Please understand for safety concerns, if you are dangerous on the track, can’t achieve an adequate lap time, or for any other related issues, you may be asked to park for the day. 
  • “Follow-the-leader” sessions allowed only by qualified personnel, and in the correct sessions. These privileges may be revoked for safety reasons if the instructor is deemed unqualified. Instructors must be approved in advance. 
  • No overnight camping at K1 Circuit. The paddock area must be cleared by 9pm. 
  • All Karts must pass the 95 DB test for noise on track. If non-compliant you will be asked to fix the issue before taking the track again. This includes generators paddock 
  • All pit spots require a tarp under the kart on the ground to catch excess fuel, oil, cleaners, or chain lube in the paddock. Non-compliance after the first warning may result in a $150 fine. 
  • No fuel storage at the track or paddock.  

 

REGARDING SERVICE ANIMALS: 

 

Service animals must always remain by the handler’s side and be harnessed, leashed, or tethered. If such devices interfere with the service animal’s work or if the handler’s disability prevents their use, the handler must maintain control of the animal through voice, signals, or other effective means. Service animals must be housebroken and guests with service animals are responsible for always cleaning up after their animals.

 

Visitors with service animals are solely responsible for the animal’s appropriate behavior toward other guests and K1 Circuit personnel. Guests with service animals are fully responsible and liable for any damage or injury caused by their service animals. Any service animal that exhibits aggressive behavior will be excluded from the facility.

 

K1 Circuit race gear requirements:  

 

  • Arrive and Drive (rental kart) racers must wear long-sleeved shirts, long pants, closed-toe shoes, and gloves. Full-face helmets and suits are always available to borrow. You can use your own DOT or higher rated helmet, however no open-faced, or motocross helmets/goggles are allowed. 
  • Kart owners must wear a full abrasion-resistant karting suit, closed-toe shoes, a full-face SNELL approved helmet, and racing gloves. Neck collars and rib vests with a chest protector are mandatory in the kid kart and cadet categories, with neck collars required for Juniors.
